Ableton Live

The first voice integration that would literally change my life is Ableton Live X voice. I often have a beat in my mind and I knock with the pencil in my desk and then write down a sort of sequence in my Notes app that I hope I'll remember after. I never do, and humming certain sounds again doesn't do the job either. As a creative, I get tons of ideas on the spot and I’ve always wished I could just "talk" to my DAW and tell it what to do for me. Thus I would be making music faster and could quickly apply whatever crazy idea I have at that moment. I recently found Dubler 2 which transforms your voice into a real-time MIDI controller, allowing you to write music at the speed of thought. If you can sing it, beatbox it, hum it, or whistle it— now you can play it. I’d love to make a VUI sync my tracks but not being understood and playing the wrong thing (live) might be tricky.

Gorrilas

I love this app and almost nothing would make it better like using voice! Sometimes I discover that I am missing ingredients while cooking and it's so frustrating! Users like me could add Gorillas items to their shopping list (just like they can do on Alexa), retrieve previously ordered and favorited items and hear about the new deals, all while doing their own thing. A great feature would be pairing this with a smart fridge that helps keep track of what's inside without having to open the door. Imagine doing that, then asking Alexa for recipes with your new purchased items and having it read the steps while you cook. While loading the items, I'd love to tell it the expiration dates and then receive notifications to use the food while is still fresh.

Nike Runners Club

I love running and especially when things go smoothly- when I don't need to refill my water bottle or have to pee and go all the way home. Most importantly though I need the right music- which is always a set as I hate changing the tracks and not being satisfied with the BPM. I use NRC and YouTube Premium but I would love a more seamless experience. By adding voice to the Nike app I could tell the "coach" to shut up every 1 km (when the voice always interrupts my favorite part of the track) and just ask for my distance (or pace, minutes left to finish workout etc.) whenever I please. I would also like to get information about where the nearest gas station is or to hear step-by-step stretching instructions before or after my run (as watching a video is pretty annoying).

Pet feeder

I love my cat Diablo to bits so I bought him an automatic pet feeder for when I am away. It's great because I can see him and also schedule feeding times. One thing that would delight me (and him I think) would be to use my voice for different commands. As I use this machine when I am away that means I'm also busy- and being able to shout "remind Pet Feeder to feed Diablo 4 portions instead of 3 at 9 PM" would be just great. Next, as this has a microphone (+ camera), I could also play him a Spotify cat playlist to relax (they do exist). I could also ask what he's doing as I'm a worried cat mum and sometimes navigating through the feeder app can take quite some time to retrieve the footage.
